sarah & ryan – married! andover wedding photographer
July 8, 2010Congratulations to Sarah and Ryan! The day couldn’t have been more perfect for their wedding… They weren’t interested in a ton of posed photos, which made it fun for me to focus more on the photojournalistic side. A couple of my favorite moments/photos – all the girls gathering around while Sarah gets her dress on, and Sarah and Ryan’s first dance, just really sweet. And I can’t believe how much laughing there was at their ceremony – Father Joe definitely made it entertaining by inserting some personal tidbits about the couple.

kelly & cory – married! cape cod wedding photographer
June 30, 2010Forgive me for the length of this post – I had such a hard time narrowing down the shots on the beach of these two… So, I left all my favorites in!
Kelly and Cory have to be one of the nicest couples I’ve ever met. And all day long, from all the other vendors, all I heard was, “aren’t these two just the nicest people ever?” Yes, they are! The minute I arrived at Kelly’s parents house, all she could do was worry about me and was I okay. So sweet. And when I tried to get them to do a more “serious” pose on the beach (like the one with the big rock inbetween them) – they said, “we can’t NOT smile when we look at each other!”
The rain gods also smiled on us that day – unfortunately the ceremony had to be moved to the deck of the Ocean Edge Carriage House from the lawn because of rain showers coming and going. However, the rain stayed away for the length of the ceremony, and just long enough for us to go to the beach for the formals with the wedding party.

twin boys! massachusetts baby photographer
June 28, 2010Oooh, babies! Cute, cute twin boys. I was so thrilled with Catherine and Edmond contacted me for the photos of their twin boys Raymond and Elias. Their wedding was one of my first – way back in May of 2005. How appropriate that their babies would be one of my first baby shoots? (Besides friends/family babies, of course) It just seems right! They invited me to the official “meet & greet” for the boys, so I was able to get some of their friends and family members with the babies as well. Can’t wait to see these guys at the one year mark!

June 23, 2010I had a fantastic beach engagement session with Megan and Chris last summer, and I had been so looking forward to their wedding! They are so fun together, and of course Megan makes a gorgeous bride and Chris the dapper groom… And I remember from last summer how warm and welcoming their families are. Chris’ dad even sung a couple of Sinatra songs, one of which to Megan – so sweet! I also love all the beach themed details and the blue and green flowers.

Clodagh and John opted for doing the “formal” photos beforehand, so we were able to go around the grounds of the Wayside Inn a bit to multiple locations. I’ve only been there once before, and that was just at the chapel during the winter, so I’d never really gotten to see much of the rest of the place. Of course, it’s gorgeous! Too many places for photos – we started at the grist mill, went to the actual historic inn, and also the old orange schoolhouse and the meadow in front of the chapel. The details of everything were just lovely, and the couple was so calm and collected throughout the day! I’m glad to have been a part of it.

I had a great time shooting Andrea and Eric’s wedding – not only did they have huge smiles all day, but they were so lovey-dovey throughout the day and night… It shows in all of the moments I was able to capture, but seriously, they couldn’t stop looking at each other all day! It was wonderful.
Other highlights – at the ceremony the bell choir did two amazing songs… Had all of us in a trance – truly beautiful… And towards the end of the night they had an anniversary dance, and Andrea’s parents were the last ones up there. A very nice moment!
