Share on FacebookHello out there… Sorry I haven’t been updating recently – my October was so full of weddings and portrait sessions that I’ve been focusing my energy on getting through the editing of all those images for clients before working on the blogposts. However, I am almost up-to-date! So, expect more regular blogging soon (probably after Thanksgiving, though – I have a German Chocolate Cake recipe to conquer!). In the meantime, you can “like” me on Facebook – I update there more regularly with sneak peek photos and little tidbits.
Also, anyone who is interested in getting prints through my website for Christmas will need to order them by December 11th. If you are a client that needs to redeem a print credit with me, please send me the order by December 10th.
Jessica, from Boston-based wedding planners Alden Blair Events, and I are planning a concept/style photoshoot this September and we need models! The concept is nautical inspired and will have lots of neat details and beautiful colors… All we need is you! The only requirements are that you have wedding attire (guys don’t need a tux, just a suit will be fine), and are available on September 12th, and the 19th (backup date for bad weather). The shoot will take place along the water somewhere on the Northshore. Exact location TBD.
This is a great opportunity if your outdoor photos got rained out on your wedding day, or if you had a winter wedding with no outdoor photos, or just because it will be fun! I will be happy to do an extended photoshoot for just the two of you after the concept shoot is over that day.

Share on FacebookThe other day I asked Tom, my husband, to help me out in testing the new studio set-up I have in our home… but someone else wanted to be in the spotlight.
After shooting weddings since 2005, and since moving to my own home where I have room for a small studio, I am hoping to expand out to the next realm of photography – maternity, newborns and baby’s first year. To help that effort, I am offering a special rate for a package of three portrait sessions – maternity, newborn, and 3-6 months (if you’d like to skip the maternity session and do three sessions of baby’s first year, that is fine too). The sessions can be on location in your home (not more than 50 miles from Newton, NH), at a park or other outdoor location, or at my home studio.
This special rate would be $375 for all three sessions – that would average out to $125 per session (normal rates are $200-$300). The rate includes all editing, online gallery, and of course a DVD of images for you to use as you’d like. For an additional $100 you can get a matted/framed set of three 5×7’s – one from each session.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner! A gift certificate for these three sessions would make a great present for a mother-to-be.
