Wow! What an amazing way to start off my “official” wedding season! A beautiful location that I’ve never shot at before, a wonderful couple who put so many little touches into their wedding, a fun wedding party, and a band that kept all of their family and friends on the dance floor all night long (and family & friends who can really party!).

I can’t believe I’ve never shot a wedding at Glen Magna Farms in Danvers before. I lived in Beverly for over three years, just one town over! Well, I’m glad to have rectified that now. Apparently we were really lucky (not only with the beautiful weather), because the flowers bloomed early this year – the wonderful purple glow above the couple during the ceremony especially was just perfect. I was a little pressed for time because there are just too many wonderful spots to take photos at Glen Magna. Thankfully Megan and Zach didn’t mind going across the property to a few different spots – aren’t they so cute? They look like they’re straight from a magazine… And no, you’re not seeing double – Zach’s twin brother was his best man – and had some “twin humor” in his toast – how much wisdom he’d gained as the older brother (by one minute!).

Thanks you guys for making my job easy! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek… This is a pretty long one! So much to share.

I don’t have much to say about Lisa and Keith – I think the photos say it all! They are such a fun, sweet couple and we had a wonderful time for their engagement photos. Can you believe that I had never been to the Arnold Arboretum before? I can’t! I’m so glad that Lisa suggested it for their photos. And I gave her a couple of ideas for fun props to bring, and she completely ran with it! Pinwheels, bubbles, streamers, steampunk goggles! Awesome. Also, you might notice I toyed around with the post-processing of some of these images, with a vintage/golden look.

After shooting weddings since 2005, and since moving to my own home where I have room for a small studio, I am hoping to expand out to the next realm of photography – maternity, newborns and baby’s first year. To help that effort, I am offering a special rate for a package of three portrait sessions – maternity, newborn, and 3-6 months (if you’d like to skip the maternity session and do three sessions of baby’s first year, that is fine too). The sessions can be on location in your home (not more than 50 miles from Newton, NH), at a park or other outdoor location, or at my home studio.

This special rate would be $375 for all three sessions – that would average out to $125 per session (normal rates are $200-$300). The rate includes all editing, online gallery, and of course a DVD of images for you to use as you’d like. For an additional $100 you can get a matted/framed set of three 5×7’s – one from each session.

Mother’s Day is right around the corner! A gift certificate for these three sessions would make a great present for a mother-to-be.

Please pass this along to any friends, family, co-workers or acquaintances that might be interested!
